King James I conquered the island of Mallorca in 1229, and handed over the Possessió to the Order of the Templars, as it appears in the “Llibre del Repartiment”.

In 1511, the current family bought the house and dedicated it mainly to the production of wine and other crops.
1784
In 1785, Chaplain Despuig catalogued the most important “Possessions” of Mallorca, including the Possessió Binicomprat among them.
THE TWO FAMILIES
With the union of two families, the Oliver Ribas de Cabrera and the Moragues Ribas de Pina, one of the most deeply rooted families in the island’s wine-growing history was consolidated at the beginning of the 20th century.
